Ajay Tormey in action for Gaeil Colmcille
On Wednesday evening the management of the Meath Minor Football team released their panel for the upcoming Leinster Football Championship. There was mixed emotions on the Gaeil Colmcille front with Ajay Tormey making the final cut but heartbreak for trio Andrew Butler, Kristapus Vitkausus and Sean Thornton who had soldiered with the Academy squad since 2018.
The 2021 Leinster Championship will get underway for this years team on either July 10th or July 24th depending on the result of the 2020 Leinster MFC Final where Meath will take on Offaly. Should Meath win, the 2021 panel will get a bye straight to the Semi-Final. If Offaly beat Meath the 2021 panel will start their championship off on July 10th.
