Gaeil Colmcille are delighted to bring the Deirdre De Hál, Fr. Larry Murray, and Tom Markhem Cups to Páirc Colmcille for our underage Boys & Girls to get their hands on and get some photos with our Gaeil Colmcille Minor stars Emma-Jane McKeon who won the Leinster LGFA Minor A Football Championship and Ajay Tormey who was part of the Meath Minors who won the Leinster and All-Ireland in the Summer.
A fantastic year for Meath on the field for both our Men and Women. The Meath Ladies had a wonderful year winning the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and the next group of stars also picked up the Leinster Minor A Championship defeating Longford in the final 2-09 to 1-10 with our own Emma-Jane McKeon involved.
The Meath Minor boys defeated Louth and Dublin on route to the Leinster success, the win over Dublin set up a date with Connaught Champions Sligo and it was the Royal County that progressed to the final where Ulster Champions Tyrone awaited them. On 28th of August 2021 Meath beat Tyrone on a scoreline of 1-12 to 1-11 to claim their first Minor All-Ireland title since 1992 with our own Ajay Tormey involved.
The meet and greet will take place in Páirc Colmcille on 6th November at 12 noon. All is welcome on the day.
