After the success of our Gaelic 4 Mothers & Others, Gaeil Colmcille are hoping to start a Dads & Lads team. Paul Murphy has a brief message for everyone looking to join. See below:
“Hi lads I’m hoping to organise Dads and lads football team for Kells. Most clubs around have a team so we could organise challenges going forward. There are also some small competitions from time to time we can enter. I’d be looking for as many lads as possible as not everyone will be available all the time.
What I’d hope for is that we train one night a week for 1 hour sharp, training will consist of chatting and having the banter. There is an insurance policy we’d have to get additional information on which we’d sort out in due course. But it would most likely cost something each individual player .
There is small tournament on 18/6 in Pairc Taiteann I’d hope we’d make .

Great way to get out again and great for your kids, nieces and nephews to see all your skills coming to the top again, also if you feel your past togging out please still get involved as myself as player manager / captain / free taker / penalty taker will need hand managing team while I’m doing all the above .
