Our seniors are all set to face fellow Townies Navan O’Mahony’s in the Seamus Connolly Catering ‘A’ League Division 1 Final in Pairc Tailteann.
After a stop start campaign Gaeil Colmcille got in full swing after defeats to Wolfe Tones, Na Fianna and Donaghmore/Ashbourne saw the Kells lads go on a good run to make the Semi-Final against Summerhill.
A 2-10 to 1-09 win over The Hill set up a Final date with table toppers O’Mahony’s. Kells will be hoping to go one better than their 2018 decider defeat to Skryne after Gaeil Colmcille lost out 0-19 to 1-13.
Gaeil Colmcille will be hoping to bring back The Division 1 Mooney Cup to Kells for the first time since 1994 and will be hoping for a big crowd in Navan to cheer the lads on.
