The Gaeil Colmcille Golf Classic 2024 which was kindly sponsored by Callmetrics and Joe Norris on May 31st at Headfort Golf Cliub.
26 teams took to the Old Course and it was the Imperial Entertainment Team that won on a score line of 55.6 winning four golf GPS watches which was sponsored by Brendan Murphy. Alan Carrys team of himself, Tom Shine, Derry and Emma Hunt that came in 2nd on 56 and won Vouchers kindly sponsored by The China Garden Navan and Green Fees sponsored by Headfort Golf Club while Earthridge International took 3rd place on 56.3 and won Vouchers for Paul’s Menswear.
There was some individual awards with Anne Tully winning The Royal Drive Development sponsored Nearest to the Pin on the 10th leaving her tee shot just 4ft from the Pin. Alan Carry’s monster drive on the 18th hole won him the Entegro sponsored Longest drive. On the par 3 hole 14, we held a draw for anyone who landed on the green (with the tee shot) for a bottle of Kells Gin which was kindly sponsored by Headfort Arms Hotel and won by Seamus Mattimoe. O’Connors Bar won the Bank of Ireland umbrellas and we had three Joe The Pro vouchers which was won by Ciaran Lynch, Derry Hunt and Conn Cleary.
