Another exceptional display by our u13 Hurlers sees them sharing the points with Kilmessen this morning in Grangegodden.
Kilmessen started sharply scoring 2-3 inside the first 15 mins. Gaeil Colmcille chipped away at the score with Daniel Callary, Eoin Smith and Callum Reilly taking the challenge to the visitors. Having done most of the hurling we found ourselves 5 points down at the half way mark, we chipped away at the score but another green flag for Kilmessen saw then restore their 5 point lead at the 3/4 mark.
With substitute Conor Larkin solid in Defence with Mark Halpin their kept a supply of ball to our inside forwards which resulted in a Jack Hand goal to level the result at the final whistle.
