A big weekend lies ahead for our footballers in the Men’s and Women’s as well as our underage teams.
MFL: Gaeil Colmcille v Dunshaughlin Sat 15th 11am Grangegodden
First up Saturday morning our Boys Minor Division 1 Team welcome Dunshaughlin to Grangegodden on Saturday morning at 11am. The lads will be hoping to build on their first round win over Seneschalstown. The fixture will see the U16 Division 1 & 2 Champions face off.
U14: St. Colmcille’s v Gaeil Colmcille Sat 15th 12pm Piltown
Next up our u14 girls make the trip to what is not likely to be the sunny east when they face St. Colmcille’s in the Division 7 fixture.
LGFA League: Blackhall Gaels v Gaeil Colmcille Sun 16th 12pm Kilcloon
Our Ladies get their year started with a season opener in the Division 4 clash against Blackhall Gaels. After winning Division 5 last year the girls will be hoping for a similar result in this year’s campaign.
Feis Cup: Gaeil Comcille v Navan O’Mahony’s Sun 16th 2pm Grangegodden
Sunday sees our senior side welcome Navan O’Mahony’s to Grangegodden for the Semi-Final of the 2020 Feis Cup. Both sides topped their respected groups after final round wins, Gaeil Colmcille accounting for Na Fianna while O’Mahony’s defeated Skryne. The sides are no stranger to each other having faced each other four times in 2019. And the sides will meet in the season opener of the League on the 29th of February.
U16: Gaeil Colmcille v Dunderry Sun 16th 3pm Grangegodden
Our U16 girls take on Dunderry in the Division 6 fixture out in Grangegodden and will be hoping to get the year off to a good start.
